Khamisi Golding is a respected music industry executive, A&R, video promoter, entrepreneur, and marketing strategist with extensive experience in artist development, music promotion, video distribution, and entertainment branding. As the founder of Roc Video Promo, Golding has built a reputation for helping independent and major recording artists expand their visibility through strategic television, digital, and music video promotion campaigns.
During his tenure as a Video Promoter at Roc-A-Fella Records, Khamisi Golding played an instrumental role in promoting iconic music videos and supporting campaigns that contributed to major industry recognition, including MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) and Grammy Award wins. His promotional work supported award-winning releases such as Jesus Walks by Kanye West, which won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Song and the MTV VMA for Best Male Video, as well as 99 Problems and Dirt Off Your Shoulder by Jay-Z. “99 Problems” earned multiple MTV Video Music Awards, including Best Rap Video, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.
In addition to his promotional accomplishments, Golding has also earned recognition for his A&R and artist development work with Purple City Productions. His contributions included artist development and strategic support for artists such as Nipsey Hussle, Smoke DZA, Sean Kingston, Un Kasa, Smoke & Numbers, Agallah, Streetz Da Block, Shiest Bubz, Cap 1, and Hit Maka.
Khamisi Golding also contributed A&R credits on projects including Prices Is Right, Road To The Riches, Candyland, Paris To Purple City, The Purple Album, Summer Grind IBD Album, and GoodTalk. Additionally, he was involved in notable music placements including Nipsey Hussle Freestyle on The Leaks album, which marked the first collaboration between Nipsey Hussle and Cookin Soul, as well as GoodTalk Vol. 5 and Streetz Da Block – Hit Da Block.
